Custom trailer awnings
built to ship.
DMP Awnings is a Little Falls, Minnesota shop that machines, sews and prints custom awnings for race, hospitality and display trailers. We rebuilt their site from WordPress into hand-coded static pages built around capability deep-dives, a project gallery and quote requests.
The brief
DMP Awnings machines, sews and prints custom awnings for race, hospitality and display trailers in Little Falls, Minnesota, and ships them nationwide. The site has to explain a build-to-order product no visitor can see on a shelf: what comes standard, what is optional, which trailer types are covered, and how to measure. It also has to carry photography of finished work and turn interest into a quote request.
What we built
We rebuilt the site from WordPress as hand-coded static pages. The homepage runs twelve numbered sections: three awning lines, nine standard features, three options, four shop services, a rig-type list, a tap-to-enlarge gallery, the race team, resources, an FAQ and a quote form. Under it sit dedicated pages for each awning type, for metal fabrication and printing, and three buying guides.
- Three core awning lines — Race, Hospitality and Display and Vendor each get a homepage card with an Explore link into its own page.
- Nine standard features, numbered — /01 through /09 covers quick connect/disconnect, heavy aluminum A-frames, clear-anodized billet, stainless hardware and more, each marked Standard.
- Deep service pages — separate URLs for stacker, motocross, enclosed and cargo, sidewalls and enclosures, options and accessories, repair and re-cover, metal fabrication and large-format printing.
- Quote form with application picker — name, email, phone, project details and a trailer type select offering race, hospitality, sales/display, RV, and other or not sure.
- Tap-to-enlarge gallery — ten recent-work tiles on the homepage that open larger, with a link through to the full project gallery.
- Resources hub — three guide pages (measure and install with video, fabric and color options, race awning buying) plus a downloadable product catalog PDF.
Every page is hand-coded and served from Cloudflare's edge — no WordPress, no plugins to patch. Changes run through a care plan. See what a build costs or the rest of the portfolio.
Worth a closer look
In-house capability up front
CNC machining, metal fabrication, sewing and large-format printing are called out in-house on the homepage, and metal fabrication and printing each get a dedicated page.
One page per awning type
Race, stacker, hospitality, display, enclosed cargo, motocross and sidewall awnings each have a dedicated URL, not one catch-all list.
Quote request on every screen
A free quote button in the header, calls to action between sections, and a full request form in the contact section.
