MDR Design-Build-Remodel is a licensed, locally owned design-build remodeler in Farmington, Minnesota, working in homes across the south Minneapolis metro. We built a full site around their five service lines — kitchens, bathrooms, basements, additions and whole-home remodels — with project galleries, a library of remodeling guides, and a local page for each of 18 south-metro cities.
The brief
A design-build remodel is a months-long project, not an impulse buy — homeowners research for weeks before they call anyone. The site had to answer that research honestly: what MDR does, how design-build works, what to expect on cost and timeline, and whether they work in your town. It also had to carry the proof — real projects, real Google reviews, the license number — and make booking a free consultation effortless from every page.
What we built
We built the homepage as the short version of the whole pitch: the five services, why homeowners choose MDR, the four-step process — Consult, Design, Build, Enjoy — Google reviews, an FAQ, and the service-area list, with consultation booking never more than a tap away. Under it sits the full page set: a page per service, project galleries by room, ten remodeling guides, a financing page, and a local page for every city they serve.

- 18 city pages — from Apple Valley and Lakeville to Woodbury and Mendota Heights, gathered under a locations hub, with Farmington as home base.
- 54 city-service pages — kitchen remodeling, bathroom remodeling and basement finishing each get a dedicated page in all 18 cities, so a local search lands on a local answer.
- Project galleries by room — recent kitchens, bathrooms, basements, additions and whole-home remodels, shown as real spaces built for local families.
- A ten-guide library — remodeling costs, permits, timelines, design-build vs. general contractor, ROI and resale value, choosing materials, and living through a remodel.
- Proof and booking up front — MN license #BC694036 and EPA Lead-Safe certification on the page, real Google reviews with a BBB profile link, and a free consultation form.
