SHIFT Design is a full service print and graphic design studio in Buffalo, Minnesota, working with businesses across the West Metro and Central Minnesota. We built a design-first site with an AI quote assistant on the homepage, a library of free print calculators, and dedicated pages for each of the six services and for ten towns across the service area.
The brief
SHIFT Design covers six service areas - print and stationery, wide format, mailing, bindery, vehicle graphics, and graphic design - for businesses spread across Wright County, the I-94 corridor, and the Twin Cities West Metro. That is a lot of ground for one homepage. The site had to explain a full service studio, make starting a quote easy, and give each service and ten towns in the area its own page.
What we built
We built the homepage as a guided read: hero, an AI quote assistant that takes a rough project description and lines up details for the team, a what we do block, the six services, a four step how it works, the service area list, Google reviews, and an FAQ. Underneath sits the full page set - six service pages, ten location pages, plus pricing, guides, news, and free tools.
- AI quote assistant — the homepage opens with a chat that asks what you want to print or design, with starter prompts like 500 business cards and Lettering for my work van, and email and phone as a fallback.
- Six service pages — print and stationery, wide format, mailing, bindery, vehicle graphics, and graphic design, each with its own page under a services hub.
- Ten location pages — Buffalo, Monticello, St. Michael, Albertville, Otsego, Rogers, Maple Grove, Plymouth, Dayton, and St. Cloud, all gathered under a locations hub.
- Free print calculators — a resources section of free tools, sitting alongside guides, news, pricing, and a five question FAQ.
- Process and proof, spelled out — a four step how it works runs from share your vision through proof and approve to print and deliver, with a longer page behind it.
- Reviews on the page — customer reviews in their own words sit on the homepage, with a link out to read all customer reviews.
